In honor of what may be the greatest mashup since Peanut Butter and Jelly, Sugar Plum proudly presents the worlds only Thanksgivukkah Chocolate Popcorn Tin!
To celebrate Thanksgivukkah, which is Thanksgiving and Hanukkah falling on the same day – an event that happens only once in every 77 thousand years – we assembled a fun gift tin that includes Chocolate Turkeys, Chocolate Menorahs, and Chocolate Dreidels with some tasty gourmet Kettle Corn!
Fun Facts about Thanksgivukkah:
Thanksgivukkah is a pop-culture portmanteau neologism given to the convergence of the American holiday of Thanksgiving and the first day of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
It is a result of a rare kink between the lunisolar Hebrew calendar (whose dates reflect both the moon phase and the time of the solar year) and the Gregorian calendar. Because the calendars are not calculated the same way, Chanukah appears at a different time each year on the Gregorian calendar.
The last time it happened was 125 years ago, in 1888. The next time will be 79,043 years from 2013, by one calculation.
The Holiday even has its own Facebook page!
We’re happy to announce the (soft) launch of our new and improved website! Please take a moment to look around and you will notice a much cleaner layout, an easier to use navigation menu, and some new photos of our hand made chocolate products. Click Here to Visit the new Sugar-Plum.com
We hope this makes for a more pleasurable online shopping experience for our customers. Be on the look out for some great specials coming up this holiday season from your friends at Sugar Plum Chocolates!
